This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 8/8/2019

This lot will be accompanied by a Letter of Provenance, attesting to the fact that it resided in the historic Early '66 Time Capsule Collection, one of the most exciting and important concert poster discoveries of the past 20 years.

Here we have an Original Handbill from the tiny Matrix club in San Francisco’s Marina, that we’re offering for the FIRST TIME in our auction!

The Matrix hosted many Blues and folk acts along with the emerging San Francisco sound. Early material from this venue is super scarce and currently undervalued, relative to their historical importance and design.

This issue features The Wildflower, early proponents of psychedelic folk rock. They were kind of precursors to the hippies and were at the very beginnings of the folk-psych music scene.
