We are pleased to offer, for the FIRST TIME in our auction, this incredible Widespread Panic poster from their 2012 "Panic En La Playa" run of shows. The concerts took place at the Riviera Mayan in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. This bright, artist's proof poster was designed by contemporary artist Jeff Wood, of only 20 produced! Widespread Panic is one of the most popular of the post Grateful Dead jambands and their concert posters are highly sought after.
Jeff Wood is founder of Drowning Creek Studio located in Surfside Beach, SC. During the early nineties, he began doing posters for High Times Magazine and soonafter started his career producing beautiful concert posters for a cross-section of genres, including Rockabilly bands, Punk bands, Southern Rock artists and Jambands. Low number limited edition runs such as this one are highly sought after by collectors of modern art.
