This large original poster was produced to promote Fela Kuti appearing at the Hippodrome in Paris. The Nigerian multi-instrumentalist and bandleader was touring to support his 1981 album release "Black President". Fela Kuti was a pioneer of funk, jazz and Afro-Cuban music, as well as one of Africa's most charismatic stage performers.
