This poster has been professionally restored to offer the appearance and eye appeal of a Mint copy!

Here is a very scarce Griffin poster that highlights the artist's surf imagery. This poster reproduced the centerfold from Griffin's "Tales from the Tube" Comix. It incorporates vivid and colorful cartoon panels that feature Griffins alter ego, the cartoon hero Murphy. Murphy was an early creation of Rick's. One of his first art projects was his surfing comic strip, "Murphy" for Surfer magazine in 1961, with Griffin's character featured on the front cover the following year. For the next 2 decades, the artist would often return to surfer related graphics within his large body of work. This is not an easy poster to find, in any condition.
