February CGC Sale 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/14/2019
Here we have the FIRST CGC Graded example of this vintage handbill to appear at public auction! Country Joe and the Fish along with The Grateful Dead took the stage at The Shrine Hall in Los Angeles for 2 nights at the end of December 1968.
Concerts at the Shrine were LA’s major contribution to the sixties live music scene and featured all of the top performers of the day, all in big time Hollywood style at the 500+ seat venue.
Rarely surfacing at public auction for collectors, this CGC Graded original handbill is certainly not one to be overlooked! Original First Printing with no restoration, and no nicks, cuts, tears or pinholes! Third Party Authenticated Handbills are currently one of the hottest segments of the market. See our blog dated 5/18/18 for details!
