This original handbill features a photograph of The Charlatans taken by the famous photographer Herb Greene. Greene captured many Bay Area bands in the mid-late sixties such as the Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. This piece advertises a run of shows at the historic Matrix venue. The Matrix was a tiny club in San Francisco that held just 150 people. How many handbills could they have possibly produced for this event?
