This lot includes a Signed Letter of Authenticity by Jay Thelin, proprietor of The Psychedelic Shop! The short lived but historic shop closed in October 1967. The poster once graced the walls of the shop and has been in Jay Thelin's possession since. 

The FD-11 Original First Printing poster is the very first contribution to the Family Dog series by Victor Moscoso. The image features one of the famous Gargoyles that live atop Notre Dame De Paris. Early Family Dog posters are among the most sought after issues by collectors due to their ultra low issue numbers and minuscule survival rates. In June 2014, a non-CGC certified example in similar condition realized $1104 in our mega sale. This piece here is 100% Original with no restoration.
